A deep-water core routine for stability
Use a training buoyancy belt to stay upright and target your core in deep water — under supervision.
Deep-water training removes ground impact entirely, letting you focus on posture, control and core engagement. A training buoyancy belt helps you stay vertical so you can hold positions with good form.
The routine
Warm up with 5 minutes of easy deep-water marching. Then cycle through knee tucks, seated twists and flutter holds — 30 seconds each, 3 rounds, resting as needed.
Important
A training buoyancy belt is a fitness aid for supervised deep-water exercise. It is not a personal flotation device or lifesaving device and must never be relied upon to prevent drowning. Only train in deep water if you are a confident swimmer and a qualified supervisor is present.
